Dana E. Sherwin (pronounced with short “a”: Dăna) is a consultant and speaker focused on healthcare management and patient-physician communication. She has served in healthcare executive and consultant positions throughout her 35-year career. In prior roles, Dana has worked in hospitals, managed care plans, and three of the largest public accounting/management consulting firms in the U.S.A. She holds a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan's School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dana serves as a volunteer advisor with the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network; a member of the 2024-2025 Editorial Review Board of The Journal of Patient Experience; and a peer reviewer for the Journal of Healthcare Management.
