Lazar has led phenotypic screening and target deconvolution campaigns, played an integral role in taking two agents from an idea into the clinic, and has run point on hundreds of millions of dollars in debt and equity financings. Throughout his career, Lazar has always been at the nexus of business and science. He believes that understanding how to effectively use science to create sound business strategies and communicate those strategies to drive business decisions is vital to the success of a biotech company.
