Albert M. Green, PhD is the President and CEO of QantumCT, an organization focused on developing a quantum technology ecosystem for the state of CT. Dr. Green is an accomplished technology and business leader with over 30 years of experience in fostering innovation and driving business growth. He has a proven track record of transforming cutting-edge technologies into commercially viable products and services. In a prior role, as the CEO of Kent Displays, Dr. Green led the transformation of a university-developed liquid crystal technology into the world-leading eWriter product category, achieving over $200 million in worldwide sales and growing the company’s revenues by 20x. His strategic vision and leadership extended to managing a global supply chain and spearheading international sales efforts.
In his role as founder and managing partner of AMG Consulting Group, Dr. Green provided executive coaching, business growth strategies, and technology commercialization expertise to startups and growing businesses. He co-founded Mid-America Applied Technology Corporation (MATCorp), where he served as CTO, delivering operational prototypes to federal clients and building a robust network of technology providers.
Throughout his career, Dr. Green has been instrumental in developing strategic partnerships across industries, working with organizations such as Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and Case Western Reserve University. His ability to bridge the gap between technology and business is further evidenced by his leadership at SAIC, where he managed a $30 million P&L, led a team of PhD-level scientists and engineers, and secured major government contracts with DARPA and other federal agencies.
A Stanford PhD in Physics and holder of 26 patents, Dr. Green is “bi-lingual” in communicating with both technical experts and C-suite executives. His board and advisory roles span numerous institutions, including the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, BRITE Energy Innovators, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Business Advisory Council.
