David Ulrey is CFO of Fervo Energy Company, a role he’s held since June 2021. Fervo provides 24/7 carbon-free energy through the development of next-generation geothermal power. Prior to Fervo, David worked for NOV in various capacities including as the Director of Renewables and Director of M&A and Investor Relations. Before NOV, David worked as an investment banker at Simmons & Company, Energy Specialists of Piper Jaffray, advising on a wide variety of capital transactions for energy services and equipment companies. David was also a Captain in the U.S. Army, serving as a Finance officer in Italy, Afghanistan, and Joint Base Lewis-McCord, Washington.
David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
