Huiyuan Zhang, Ph.D. is a Senior Associate at SV Health Investors, where she focuses on investing in and building biotech companies developing transformational medicines for serious diseases. She currently serves as a Board Observer for Cerevance, Violet Therapeutics, and Ribometrix.
Prior to joining SV, Huiyuan was a Fellow at 5AM Ventures, supporting venture creation and early-stage investments in biotechnology. She also worked as a Business Development Fellow in the Harvard Office of Technology Development.
Huiyuan earned her Ph.D. in Immunology from Harvard Medical School, where she conducted translational research on neuroinflammation, autoimmune diseases, and immuno-oncology in the lab of Dr. Vijay Kuchroo at the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
