Dr. Amanda Lounsbury is an Early-Stage Technology Strategist at Xylem Innovation Labs, where she is responsible for early-stage strategy and partnerships to accelerate breakthrough solutions for water and climate resilience. With 15 years of experience in sustainability spanning the energy-water nexus, innovation ecosystems, and environmental policy, she brings systems thinking, technical depth, and strategic insight to the commercialization of emerging technologies. At Xylem, she is responsible for early-stage programming which includes shaping investment theses, collaborating with startups and universities, and preparing the company for industry shifts driven by regulation, science, and customer need.
She holds a PhD in Chemical & Environmental Engineering from Yale University and is passionate about translating cutting-edge science into scalable solutions that advance sustainable prosperity.
