Dr. Jun Wang is currently an Assistant Professor of Pathology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Wang possesses around two decades of expertise in immunotherapy, focusing on the discovery of novel immune receptor-ligand pathways and their utilization for treating cancer and other human diseases. In addition to his early experience with anti-4-1BB immunotherapy, he has characterized FGL1/LAG-3, Siglec-15, MHC-I membrane inhibitors, SARS-CoV-2 myeloid receptors and myeloid feedback modulators etc., as potential mechanisms of immune evasion and targets for immunotherapy. He is the founder and scientific advisor for Remunix Inc., an advisor for BMS, Hanmi and LAV, an advisor and scientific co-founder for Rootpath Genomics, and a co-founder of BioSpark Group.
