Writer, artist, award-winning social entrepreneur and experienced event planner Rebekah L. Fraser has a passion for creative waste diversion. She created the first annual trashion ball in central MA, which drew attendees from six towns. After moving to New Haven, Fraser launched Local Lit @ LOTTA, a bi-monthly event that enhanced Connecticut’s literary community by connecting local authors with live audiences for readings and facilitated discussions. She currently serves as Director of Membership & Events for Interfaith Volunteer Care Givers and is actively involved in several environmental organizations.
Her forthcoming novel, REFASHIONED BY LOVE (Tara L. Roí, Bee Books, 2025) features a trash fashion designer and the angel investor who helps her launch the upcycled fashion house of her dreams.
