Ali Maatouk received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from CentraleSupélec, Gif-sur-Yvette, France, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. From 2018 to 2020, he spent his time on multiple occasions at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, as a Visiting Ph.D. Student. From 2021 till 2023, he was a Researcher with Huawei Technologies, Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Since 2024, he has been a researcher at Yale School of Engineering working on the application of Generative AI in large-scale systems, with a special emphasis on telecommunications networks. He was a recipient of both the Regional and National André Blanc-Lapierre Awards for Best Master’s Student in France in the domain of electricity, information technology, and communication. For his Ph.D. degree, he received the Paris-Saclay Ph.D. Award for one of the best scientific contributions.
