Elle Brunsdale is passionate about leveraging creative capital and partnerships to scale sustainable solutions. As a VP of Investments at Greenbacker Capital, she led acquisitions, financings, and development initiatives for projects ranging from utility-scale solar-plus-storage to electric vehicles. She led Greenbacker's first equity investment into EV fleet infrastructure and structured over $235mm of distributed solar financings across 90+ projects. Prior to Greenbacker, Elle was an investor at D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments where she acquired and financed over 850MW of renewable energy assets and closed $1Bn of tax equity and debt financing. In addition, she has experience working on strategy at Bloom Energy, water impact investing at Encourage Capital, and business development at FiscalNote. Elle has a MBA, Master of Environmental Management, and BA in Economics and Environmental Studies from Yale University.
