ABOUT THE YALE LIFE SCIENCES PITCHFEST

The annual Yale Life Sciences Pitchfest is a one-day event held each December to showcase Yale faculty innovators presenting breakthrough research projects in therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health. It also serves as the semifinals for The Blavatnik Fund for Innovation at Yale. Over the course of the day each Yale faculty-led team presents their projects in 5-minute pitches followed by a 3-minute Q&A with a panel of judges. Judges will select winners who are recognized as the most exciting life science research coming out of Yale laboratories.  

One of the most popular events of the year, the event draws C-level executives, academics, industry leaders, researchers, students, and more. 

BIO CT HOLIDAY PARTY

Directly following Yale’s Pitchfest is BioCT’s Annual Holiday Party, which provides the opportunity to connect with colleagues, make new acquaintances, and celebrate the Entrepreneur of the Year, an award recognizing individual who are imaginative, passionate and game-changers in Connecticut life science and whose accomplishments are recognized outside of the state.
