ABOUT THE YALE LIFE SCIENCES PITCHFEST
Hosted each December by Yale Ventures, the Yale Life Sciences Pitchfest is Yale’s flagship annual showcase of life sciences innovation. The one-day event spotlights Yale faculty innovators advancing breakthrough research in therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health. It features applicants from the Blavatnik Fund for Innovation at Yale and HealthTech Works, Yale Ventures’ accelerator funds.
Pitchfest serves as the semifinal round for The Blavatnik Fund for Innovation at Yale. Faculty-led teams deliver five-minute pitches, each followed by a three-minute Q&A with a panel of judges. New this year, approximately 10 finalists for HealthTech Works will also pitch. HealthTech Works is Yale Ventures’ newest accelerator fund, supporting digital health and medical technology solutions that transform care, improve outcomes, and advance human health.
ePoster presentations from more advanced projects and companies accompany the live pitches, bringing the total to more than 50 of Yale’s most promising life sciences innovations on display. Judges will select winners representing some of the most exciting research emerging from Yale laboratories.
As one of Yale Ventures’ most popular events of the year, Pitchfest brings together C-level executives, academics, industry leaders, researchers, students, and others to discover new innovations and connect with Yale’s life sciences community.
