Mark Clague is the Executive Director of the campus-wide Arts Initiative of the University of Michigan and Professor of Arts Entrepreneurship and Leadership. A nationally known music historian with a focus on culture in the United States, he is author of the book "O Say Can You Hear?: A Cultural Biography of 'The Star-Spangled Banner," which was a New York Time's Editor's Pick. He is the founder of the EXCEL entrepreneurship program at Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance.
