Dr. David Sterling Brown is Associate Professor of English at Trinity College in Hartford and he specializes in Shakespeare and critical race studies. He is author of Shakespeare’s White Others and the forthcoming Shakespeare Under the Hood—both with Cambridge University Press and the former available as an audiobook narrated by Brown. With support from the Mellon Foundation and American Council of Learned Societies, as a result of his 2021 Scholars and Society Fellowship, Brown launched his virtual-reality art gallery exhibition titled “Visualizing Race Virtually” in 2023.
