Andrew Byrnes, founder of Byrnes Impact, is an advisor, attorney, and investor focused on helping innovators, creators, and changemakers turn visionary ideas into real-world impact.

With more than 25 years of experience across technology, business, law, and public policy, Andrew has held senior roles in government and the private sector, including Chief of Staff at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, principal general counsel for Uber’s global rideshare business, and partner at Covington & Burling LLP.

A lifelong ”theater kid,” Andrew has co-produced theatrical productions on Broadway and London’s West End, produced the award-winning U.S.-Japan documentary The Power of Two, and founded Adventures in Syncopation, a community that supports entrepreneurs supercharged by their performing arts experience. He currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Yale Ventures and a Fellow of the U.S.-Japan Leadership Program.

Andrew earned his B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
