Speaker Bio
Chris Gannett believes business is the ultimate lever for global change. He founded Gannett.Partners, a Dallas-based Coach/Build/Invest firm, to work at the intersection of human potential and enterprise value — with founders, athletes, and artists building what comes next.

Two theses guide the work. (1) The $12T intersection of education, media, IP, sport, and the creator economy is the defining market of the next decade — still early, still open, and rife with opportunity for those who see it clearly. (2) North Texas is where it gets built first. Co-founders from Dallas, New York and Philadelphia are choosing Dallas as their first commercial footprint. Not out of loyalty. Out of conviction.

Emmy-winning, Guinness Record-holding, and recognized with Sony's CEO Award for Global Entrepreneurial Achievement — his operating track record spans Sony, American Idol, Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, and hip hop's The D.O.C., with millions raised and over $500M in M&A enabled.

Gannett.Partners' four active Applied Ventures — DOC CARES and three currently in stealth — are the proof of concept. Its unique model compounds on trust, not spend — built on a concept called Founder Due Diligence: the same rigor private equity applies to operations applied instead to the person building the company.

A Yale Ventures Entrepreneur in Residence, HBR Advisor, and former Harvard McLean Coaching Fellow, Chris also serves on boards including the Dallas Regional Chamber and DOC CARES, and speaks at leading conferences and universities.

Happy husband, father of two, and music fan top to toe.
