Pete Harrison is the Connecticut Director of the Regional Plan Association. He joined RPA to lead the DesegregateCT program in 2021 and has helped pass housing and land use legislation. Previously, he was senior housing policy advisor for Data for Progress, a progressive think tank as well as visiting scholar on housing and climate policy at the Buell Center at Columbia University where he contributed to the textbook Green Reconstruction. He has also co-founded two startup companies and is on faculty at the City University of New York teaching about IT strategy. He lives in Simsbury, CT with his wife and son.
