Brandon Middaugh is General Manager of Microsoft’s Sustainability Markets and Climate Innovation Fund programs. The Climate Innovation Fund is a $1 billion capital investment initiative to accelerate technology development and deployment of climate innovations. In this capacity, she works to advance climate solutions and innovative technologies through sustainable investments including venture capital and project finance. Previously, Brandon led the company’s global distributed energy strategy for Microsoft’s cloud energy & sustainability team. Prior to joining Microsoft, Brandon was a Vice President at SunEdison. Earlier in her career, Brandon led consulting engagements for energy clients and sustainable investment clients as a Vice President at Albright Stonebridge Group. Brandon holds an MBA degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master of Environmental Science degree from Yale School of the Environment (2007), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental science from Yale College (2006). Brandon is a member of Elemental Impact’s Advisory Circle. She previously served on Energy Impact Partners’ ESG Advisory Board and on the non-profit boards of Climate Solutions and the Washington State Parks Foundation.
