QuantumCT is pleased to welcome Vivek Ramakrishnan, PhD, MBA as Senior Director of Technology Deployment. In this role, Vivek will help accelerate pilot-to-deployment pathways for quantum technologies and expand Connecticut's quantum ecosystem by building partnerships across academia, startups, and industry to move innovations into real-world use.

Vivek joins QuantumCT from University of Connecticut, where over five years he launched 25+ faculty-led startups and led venture development and commercialization across the university's innovation portfolio. Earlier in his career, he worked at Intellectual Ventures, a $6B PE fund started by the CTO of Microsoft and held leadership roles across the medical device and innovation landscape, including AxioSonic, Xinova and Ventech Solutions. As an investor, Vivek has backed quantum, deep tech, and medtech, including CurvaFix, BQP, QC82, memQ, qBraid, and PhaseShift. Across his full portfolio, companies have raised over $104M in funding. Vivek has also executed $51M+ in licensing transactions, including strategic deals with Zimmer Biomet and Stryker.
