Sooah is the Senior Asosciate Director for The Program on Social Enterprise, Innovation, and Impact at Yale School of Management. She brings a wealth of experience in social impact consulting, nonprofits, and education to advance the Program's ambition to establish a leading platform for social impact insights and innovation at Yale and beyond.
Sooah joins us from Social Finance, where she worked on the impact advisory and investment teams, crafting strategies to drive change in workforce development and education. She has previously built collaborative coalitions among 80+ NYC nonprofits through the Student Success Network, advocated for policies supporting working and middle-class families with CT Voices for Children, and founded the Elevating Youth Voice program to promote community-centered decision-making. Prior to her work on the East Coast, Sooah taught 10th-grade English at Oakland Unity High School and was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Office of Oakland Charter Schools in 2016.
