Conor Rooney is Co-Founder and CTO of Oxylus Energy, an energy and climate technology company developing electrochemical systems that convert waste carbon into low-cost chemicals and fuels. He leads the company’s technology strategy and scale-up efforts, drawing on deep experience in electrochemistry, catalyst development, and carbon conversion systems. Oxylus Energy's core technology originated at Yale University, where Conor completed his PhD in Chemistry and earned the Richard Wolfgang prize for most distinguished dissertation in the department. He also holds a BS in Chemistry from Pomona College.
