Colby Takeda is the co-founder and CEO of Pear Suite, where he oversees operations, business development, and strategic partnerships. Colby brings his diverse background in public health, aging, and community-based care to support Pear Suite’s focus on addressing the social and environmental drivers of health, especially for older adults and underserved communities. Colby is a former senior care executive and helped open numerous care facilities. He most recently led policy and partnerships for the Blue Zones Project by Sharecare, and it was through his commitment to addressing health inequities and improving independence that he decided to launch Pear Suite.

Colby serves on the board of directors for the CTA Foundation, Better Business Bureau of the Great West and Pacific, and the National Association of Community Health Workers. He completed his undergraduate studies at Willamette University and furthered his education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Shidler College of Business and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health.
