Donald Fischer is an entrepreneur and investor focused on supporting creative and genuine technologists.

Most recently Donald co-founded Tidelift as CEO, addressing open source software supply chain security in the age of AI-driven development. Previously he was a venture partner at General Catalyst, a member of the investment team at Greylock Partners, and an executive at open source software pioneer Red Hat.

Donald has been an investor in over a dozen software startups, often serving as a board member.

He holds a BS in economics and computer science from Yale, an MS in computer science from Stanford, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
