Before co-founding Evidenced, Sean had personally invested in almost 100 private companies, focusing primarily on seed and series A stage ventures, and is also a Limited Partner in various venture and private equity funds. A decade ago, he started his healthcare journey, co-founding Advantia Health and then growing it from inception to ~$100M in revenue as CEO, successfully navigating the COVID crisis and transitioning leadership in 2020 to focus solely on private investments through what is now Evidenced. Sean also co-founded Acceleprise.VC, managing a fund that achieved significant returns for it's LPs, and then supported Acceleprise's evolution into Forum Ventures.

Sean's entrepreneurial journey began with the co-founding Higher One, a financial technology firm for higher education, where he served as founding president and Chief Marketing Officer, driving the company to profitability and a public offering in 2010. Sean's academic background includes a B.S. in Engineering Sciences from Yale and an M.A. in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. While at Yale Sean founded the Yale Entrepreneurial Society and launched Yale's business plan competition.
