Gilman Callsen is Founder, CEO, and CTO of Rho Impact, the company behind Koi, a climate data platform that helps investors evaluate the climate impact of emerging technologies. His work sits at the intersection of AI, data infrastructure, and decarbonization, where better tools and better data can improve how capital gets allocated to climate solutions. By combining commercial and climate data, he is focused on aligning capital with climate transition opportunities and identifying technologies with the potential to drive meaningful emissions reductions at scale.
Before founding Rho Impact, Gilman founded Pit Rho, which was acquired by General Motors, and previously co-founded MC10, a pioneer in stretchable electronics (acquired by Medidata). He began his career as a founder while at Yale (YC 2008), commercializing electrochromic polymer technology for building energy efficiency.
