Dr. Virginia Lyle King is a Senior Associate at Cure Ventures, a Boston-based early-stage biotechnology venture firm focused on company creation and syndicate investments from discovery through early clinical development. She leads scientific, translational, IP, and strategic diligence on seed through Series B opportunities across therapeutics, with particular interest in rare disease, aging and healthspan, ocular, hearing, and metabolic indications, as well as platform technologies.
Lyle serves as Program Lead and Board Observer for a stealth portfolio company, where she has supported company formation, R&D strategy, CRO oversight, and board-level discussions on development and financing, and is co-inventor on a U.S. provisional patent on intracellular peptide and protein delivery. She also serves as Board Observer for Recuro Health and advises Kenai Therapeutics on strategy and translational planning. In addition to her portfolio responsibilities, she contributes to Cure's fundraising and LP engagement.
She received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut and her B.S. in Biology from the University of Mary Washington.
