Dr. Mary Clare McCorry is the Director of External Ecosystem and Scientific Innovations at Sanofi, where she spearheads R&D partnerships with academics and early stage start-ups to enable the translation of innovative technologies that accelerate the advancement of safe and effective therapies to patients. Her background spans both industry and regulatory environments, having previously served as Director for Technology and Process Development at the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI), where she guided the development of advanced tissue manufacturing production lines and novel technologies. Prior to ARMI, Dr. McCorry contributed to science policy initiatives as an American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) Scholar at the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health. Her expertise in cell-based assays and tissue engineering was developed during her time at Cornell University, where she earned her Ph.D. after completing her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Throughout her career, Dr. McCorry has demonstrated exceptional leadership in bridging scientific innovation with practical applications through strategic partnerships across academia, industry, government, and non-profit sectors.
