Speaker Bio
Natalie Monbiot works at the intersection of AI and human agency. She is Founder of Virtual Human Economy, where she builds custom AI twins for enterprise leaders.
In 2019, Natalie co-founded Hour One, one of the first AI avatar companies, where she helped establish the category and built compensation models that put people at the center of their own digital likenesses. Today her work focuses on the new division of labor between humans and AI — which cognitive tasks to protect, which to offload, and how to make sure AI amplifies human judgment rather than erodes it.
Before Hour One, she led Futures at Samsung and Publicis, and Digital Innovation at IPG, for brands including BMW, Coca-Cola, and Spotify. Her perspectives have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Information, BBC, MIT Technology Review, and Fast Company. She speaks at Web Summit, SXSW, and Fortune Brainstorm AI, and gave a TEDx talk on digital twin trustworthiness. She holds a Master's in Modern Languages and Literature from Oxford University.
