Prof. James Riley is a member of Center for Cellular Immunotherapy, Institute for Immunology, and Diabetes Research Center; as well as an investigator at Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on the signaling and metabolic pathways controlling T cell activation; and the development T cell therapies for HIV, autoimmune disease and cancer. He is a scientific founder of Tmunity Therapeutics (acquired by Kite Pharma/Gilead) and BlueWhale Bio, and serves as Senior Scientific Advisor to Kite Pharma.
