Renee Wasko is an Investment Director on the Life Sciences team at Samsung Ventures, where she primarily focuses on platform technologies in biologics and diagnostics. She is particularly passionate about supporting companies that find creative ways to leverage tools built by nature for therapeutic purposes. Prior to joining Samsung, she worked on the Life Science Investment team at Connecticut Innovations, where she supported early-stage companies spanning biotech, medtech, digital health, AgTech, and R&D tools. Renee earned her PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale, studying tissue regeneration and immune-stromal interactions.
