Andrei is a quantum computing product leader with 15 years of experience spanning academia and industry. As VP of Gate Product Management at D-Wave, he leads the company's gate-model quantum computing program. He holds a PhD from Yale University, where he worked in Professor Rob Schoelkopf's lab on quantum error correction.

Prior to joining D-Wave, Andrei spent 10 years at Quantum Circuits, Inc., a quantum computing spinout from Yale University. As one of the company's founding team members, Andrei built key areas of the company’s first Seeker QPU product and Aqumen software stack. Over time, this has led to successful engagements with first external partners, full-stack cloud deployments of Quantum Circuits’ cloud services, and high-speed control system deployments.
