Sourav Choudhury is a Group Head and Distinguished Scientist at Sanofi, where he leads the Capsid Engineering and Immune Evasion team within the Genomic Medicine Unit. With ten years of experience in the biopharma industry, including tenures at LogicBio and Intellia Therapeutics, Sourav is a recognized expert in developing novel AAV vectors and genome editing technologies. His foundational work began as a Postdoctoral Associate in Dr. Feng Zhang’s lab at the Broad Institute, contributing to pioneering CRISPR-Cas9 applications in vivo. Sourav holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UMass Medical School, where he developed novel AAV capsids for CNS gene therapy.
